For my second design project during studies is wrote a concept of an application for surf enthusiasts. In the end I also created the interfaces. The aim of the application is to help surfers to find company. An integrated weather function ensures that users don't need multiple applications for planning their surf.

Things that I would have done differently today
Concept:
The weather function is extensive and most surfers have already discovered their favorite application for this. It distracts from the actual goal of the application and overloads it.
The Messenger function is another point which may is too big in it self to be included. It would be better to have the opportunity to exchange telephone numbers.
Interface:
Today I know more standards and placing the navigation at the top of the screen makes the handling more difficult and it's quite unfamiliar for users.
